BrianKim.net will start expanding into the area of entrepreneurship.

Every now and then, I will feature articles on various topics of entrepreneurship but for those who are worried the site will get off track, don’t, for I will always tie those articles back to self improvement. Self improvement has always been the focus of this site and will forever be the focus. That has not changed.

Entrepreneurship is a natural extension of self improvement and if you think about it, self improvement and entrepreneurship go hand in hand – goal setting, solving problems, making improvements, etc.

Many of the famous authors you read about in the self improvement field have cut their teeth in entrepreneurship and went on to write about self improvement because the two were inextricably linked and they found the concepts they learned and applied from self improvement helped their businesses tremendously.

Some people reading this might be turned off at the thought of reading articles on entrepreneurship, thinking they have no desire to be an entrepreneur and open their own business so they might ask what possible benefit they can get out of the articles.

The skills and ideas you learn in entrepreneurship can be applied in any area of your life.

You’ll often find there are books out there that deal with topics on business but can be applied in everyday life as well and the reason why this is so, is because business ultimately deals with helping and positively interacting with people.

You learn how to help and positively interact with people - those skills will come in handy in ALL areas of your life because your life ultimately and inevitably deals with other people as well.

You’ll also learn skills such as problem solving, creativity, networking that are applicable in all areas of your life right now.

In fact, if you were to sum up one of the major skills learned from entrepreneurship, it would be the first we mentioned:

Problem solving.

Solving problem after problem after problem, and more importantly, enjoying it.

If you can literally master this skill, the sky’s the limit for you.

That’s the expansion part.
